Adelaide’s Shane McAdam has officially requested a trade.
As reported by SEN SA’s Michelangelo Rucci last week, McAdam has expressed his intentions to get to the Melbourne Football Club.
In a short statement, Adelaide said: “The Crows were keen to retain McAdam and he had been offered a contract during the season, as he is viewed as an important player.”
The forward has requested a trade.

McAdam, 28, refused a two-year offer from the Crows in search of a three-year deal.
He’s played 50 games since debuting in 2020, kicking 72 goals in that time.
The trade period begins on October 9.
