Tim Taranto claimed the Jack Dyer Medal at Richmond’s best and fairest count on Tuesday night.

The first-year Tiger polled 68 votes to beat club great Dustin Martin who finished second on 54 votes.

Shai Bolton (50), Nick Vlastuin (46) and Dan Rioli (45) rounded out the top five.

Taranto, 25, starred in his debut season in the yellow and black after his move from GWS last trade period.

He polled 76 per cent of his votes between Rounds 5 and 18, following on from his 19 votes on Brownlow Medal night.
