Collingwood vice-captain Taylor Adams is exploring interest from Sydney, according to Seven’s Mitch Cleary.
Cleary is reporting that the Swans are targeting Adams as his midfield minutes dropped in 2023.
The 30-year-old missed out on Collingwood’s premiership this season due to a hamstring injury but is still contracted at the club for another year.
Adams attended 39 per cent of centre bounces for the Magpies in 2023, down on 65 per cent in 2022.
The Swans are also targeting former Collingwood ruckman Brodie Grundy, and Cleary says Adams has a close friendship with his ex-teammate.
The report also says that Collingwood sees Adams as a contracted and required player.
Adams has played 175 games for the Magpies since joining the club from GWS ahead of the 2014 season.
The 2023 Trade Period opens on Monday, October 9 and ends on Wednesday October 18.
