James Jordon is officially a Swan after paperwork between Melbourne and Sydney was lodged on the first day of the free agency window.
Jordon, 22, has played 65 games for the Demons since debuting in 2021. He made 17 AFL appearances in 2023 and is believed to be heading north in search of more senior opportunities.
As a delisted free agent, Melbourne cannot match any bid for Jordon and he is free to move.
Melbourne will receive Pick 39 in the 2023 National Draft as compensation.
Jordon started as the Demons' substitute on six occasions in 2023 and averaged 13.1 disposals and 2.4 inside 50s across the season.
Matt Flynn and Todd Goldstein are among the next most likely players to move clubs on Friday.
The AFL has received and approved paperwork for Unrestricted Free Agent James Jordon to sign with the Sydney Swans.
