Gold Coast delists Fremantle trade target and ex-Giant ahead of AFL Draft

Gold Coast has delisted pair Jeremy Sharp and Jake Stein as they finalise their 2024 list.

Neither featured at AFL level this season, though both played in the VFL Grand Final triumph. Stein ruptured his ACL in the game.

He begun his career at the Giants before joining the Suns at the end of 2022. He played 20 career games for GWS.

Sharp had strong trade interest from Fremantle 12 months ago, with Gold Coast holding him to his contract, reportedly knocking back a third-round pick.

The young wingman could now walk to the Dockers as a delisted free agent if interest remains.

Gold Coast had already delisted Connor Blakely, Charlie Constable and Jed Anderson, while Mabior Chol and Elijah Hollands left in the trade period.
