UPDATE
SEN WA’s Tim Gossage is reporting that Trevor Nisbett has been sounded out about a potential move to St Kilda.
However, the former West Coast CEO is unlikely to make the shift.
He will prefer to stay in Western Australia and possibly take another key role in his home state.

Nisbett is being linked with a future key role with another organisation in WA but not until he takes a break to freshen up.
EARLIER
Trevor Nisbett is being linked with St Kilda, according to SEN WA’s Scott Cummings.
There is reportedly “severe interest” from the Saints in the long-time West Coast CEO, who handed over to Don Pyke late last year.
Nisbett had been with the Eagles in various roles since 1989. He had been the club’s CEO since 1999.
Carl Dilena is the current chief executive of the Saints, acting in an interim role after Simon Lethlean parted ways with the club with mutual consent in January.
Former Eagles full-forward Cummings says he received the information from a very good source close to him.
“I don’t normally delve into this sort of territory,” Cummings started on SEN WA Breakfast.
“I took a phone call from a very good source.
“I’m led to believe that there is severe interest, and not only from one party, but both parties in Trevor Nisbett’s retirement being put on hold and moving, as the CEO, to St Kilda.
“They’re looking for a high-powered person.
“There could be a role available for Nisbett in Melbourne at the St Kilda Football Club.
“That’s what I’m led to believe. The information comes from a very reliable source.”
SEN WA’s Tim Gossage says it’s no surprise that Nisbett could potentially be seeking another key job after his long association with the Eagles.
“Trevor Nisbett, when he was going to leave West Coast, was never going to retire carte blanche and put the cue back in the rack,” said Gossage.
“My information is that Trevor was going to take a short break, freshen up, and then go back into a role. It wasn’t necessarily going to be footy.
“I have been thinking, if he was staying in Western Australia, the WACA position is about to be reborn because Christina Matthews is moving on.
“But you have thrown a real curveball.”
Cummings added: “At this stage of his life, does he want to (leave WA)?
“That’s the information I was given yesterday and we’ll keep an eye on that.”
The Saints have undergone plenty of off-field changes in the past 12 months since Ross Lyon returned to the club as head coach.
It remains to be seen if another significant alteration will be made with Nisbett’s mooted shift to Moorabbin.
