Which AFL team worries you before a ball is bounced in 2024?
That was the question on the minds of SEN WA trio Tim Gossage, Scott Cummings and Mark Duffield as the season draws closer each day.
Each of the hosts picked a team that they think will fall short of expectations and find themselves under significant pressure.

St Kilda
Scott Cummings
“For mine, it’s St Kilda,” Cummings said on SEN WA Breakfast.
“Long-suffering Saints fans, those I know a lot of, they have got some hope and they played finals last year. They shot up the ladder out of nowhere.
“I worry that the second-year blues (will hit them). The new coach comes in, everything’s bright and shiny and Ross Lyon is a changed man … but a zebra never changes its stripes.
“I just think when things go bad, he might regress a little and it just won't be as happy and friendly.
“They did look good the other day, but it's pre-season and doesn't matter.
“I'm worried St Kilda slip down again and cause more pain for the Saints fans.”
West Coast
Mark Duffield
“I think West Coast with the injuries,” Duffield said.
“I think if the oldies are out there, they'll be competitive enough for the kids to develop.
“But if they get injuries again and they get very young, then it's another season where they're getting clobbered every weekend.
“The injuries have come early again. They've clearly crossed paths with a black cat.”
Essendon
Tim Gossage
“Essendon for me,” Gossage said.
“I'm concerned about Essendon, and I'm concerned about the sort of the barometer of their performance through Jake Stringer and what sort of role he plays.
“I know lot's been said about him continually. It probably says a lot about why they've been, what they've been if that's what they're accepting from Jake Stringer.
“That's what worries me the most. So, Essendon for me.”
