The teams for the remaining games of Opening Round are here, with a few surprises across the board.
The Blues go in understrength against a fearsome Brisbane side, with Jacob Weitering, Sam Walsh, Jack Martin, Caleb Marchbank and Jesse Motlop among those unavailable. Orazio Fantasia will make his debut for the club, while Zac Williams returns from a torn ACL.
Sam Naismith will make his incredible return to football, suiting up as the main ruckman for Richmond after an injury interrupted career at Sydney.
Collingwood’s Fin Macrae has not made the cut despite a huge summer and midfield availability, with the reigning premiers naming an incredibly strong side. Defender Charlie Dean will debut.
The Giants have named young forward Harvey Thomas who will make his debut, will Damien Hardwick has picked his first side as new coach of Richmond.
