David King and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds following Round 5 of the 2024 AFL season.
King and Whateley will each rank four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See their seedings below:
KING
1. GWS
“The Giants are at one but let’s be honest, they haven’t really played anyone of substance just yet.”
2. Port Adelaide
“I loved that win. I love what they’re doing in the midfield, everyone loves the midfield.
“But I love their damage, they get the footy and they make you bleed now.”
3. Carlton
“I’ve slid Carlton to three. I just think there’s a couple (of teams) going a little bit better.
“They’ve got to get their brutality back.”
4. Geelong
“Sticking with Geelong, nothing to see here, move on, tick the box on the weekend.”
WHATELEY
1. GWS
2. Port Adelaide
“I put them in last week and I’m happy to slide them up from four to two.
“They’ve got this game against Collingwood at the MGC and Collingwood haven’t featured yet for obvious reasons.”
3. Carlton
“Carlton were at one for me until they lost, now they’ve lost, they can lose a couple of places.”
4. Brisbane
“I’m putting the Brisbane Lions in, they come in for the first time. I’ve got a play in game going with Brisbane and Geelong this coming week.
“Brisbane come in for now and the winner of that will definitely be in the seeds.”
