Gold Coast defender Sean Lemmens has been handed a four-game ban after a dangerous tackle in the VFL.
The veteran slammed Hawthorn’s Josh Bennetts in the fourth quarter of his side’s win over Box Hill, leaving him concussed.
The Suns have announced they will challenge the severity of the suspension.
Lemmens has played 145 games for Gold Coast but as things currently stand, he won’t be available at VFL or AFL level for the next month.
