Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is excited to announce the launch of its new FM station in Darwin, SENTrack Top End 90.7FM. This addition to the existing SEN Top End 1116AM station reinforces SEN's commitment to providing top-quality sports and racing coverage to the Northern Territory.
The new FM station will offer a mix of local and national content, ensuring listeners have access to the latest news and events in the world of sports, racing, chasing and pacing. SEN's ongoing partnership with Thoroughbred Racing NT (TRNT) will further enhance the network's ability to provide comprehensive coverage of the Northern Territory's vibrant racing scene.
The FM frequency was acquired by Sports Entertainment Network several years ago and, after considerable planning, is now officially on the air.
As part of the station's dedication to local content, SENTrack Top End 90.7FM will feature "Fridays In The Top End," a new breakfast show hosted by local sports journalist Jackson Clark and former AFL footballer Raphael Clarke. The show will air every Friday from 7 to 9am, delivering a comprehensive overview of the local sporting landscape and the latest news and updates from major national and international sports events. It will run on both of SEN's Top End stations.
NTFL fans will also benefit from SEN's expansion, as the new station will simulcast the NTFL Match of the Round ensuring that local footy enthusiasts across the Top End can easily tune in and follow their favourite teams throughout the season.
SEN Top End Commercial Manager James Sellar expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion, stating, "We are thrilled to bring SENTrack Top End 90.7FM to Darwin. This new FM station allows us to further engage with the local community and provide them with the best racing and sports coverage.
"Our partnership with Thoroughbred Racing NT has been instrumental in our growth, and we look forward to continuing our successful collaboration."
TRNT Chief Executive Andrew O'Toole praised the partnership, saying, "TRNT is in its second year of a partnership with SEN, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The Outside Broadcast at the recent AS Cup meeting was fantastic, and the feedback was sensational.
"We are very excited about the new FM station in the NT. I tuned in over the weekend, and as always, there were plenty of laughs, banter, and more than a few winners. It can only grow and enhance SEN's footprint in the Territory."
To accommodate this expansion and better serve the Northern Territory market, SEN has opened a new office in Darwin, further demonstrating its dedication to the region.
