Here’s who impacted from your AFL club in the state league this weekend.

Round 15 of the VFL season is complete with four games taking place across Saturday.

The day’s first game took place at RSEA Park with Sandringham going down to Sydney 68-75 before the AFL match between the Saints and Swans on Sunday afternoon.

Sydney’s standouts were defender-turned-forward Joel Hamling who kicked two goals to go with 13 marks, Aaron Francis (26 disposals) and Corey Warner (one goal, 22 disposals).

For the Zebras, Tom Campbell (three goals, 14 disposals) performed well after his dropping from the senior side while experienced midfielder Seb Ross (27 disposals) and youngster Hugo Garcia (one goal, 23 disposals) had plenty of it.

The day’s net game occurred in Frankston with the Dolphins defeating Collingwood 94-75.

For the Pies, Ash Johnson (five goals) was dominant just as a potential senior spot opened up for him thanks to Brody Mihocek’s injury, while Fin Macrae (29 disposals) and Lachie Sullivan (28 disposals) were busy.

Attention then turned to Box Hill with the Hawks defeating Geelong 72-71 after the AFL sides met at the Cattery on Saturday evening.

For the Hawks, midfielders Josh Ward (31 disposals) and Finn Maginness (two goals, 25 disposals) got their hands on it, while Geelong’s Mitch Hardie was dominant with two goals and 36 touches. Brandan Parfitt also finished with 25 disposals.

The round’s final game took place in Preston with the Bullants going down in a huge 39-134 defeat to Richmond.

For the Tigers, many of their VFL names had big games while James Trezise (26 disposals) and Thomson Dow (21 disposals) did their best to try and earn senior recalls.

Other Round 15 standout performers who are on AFL lists included Brayden Fiorini (one goal, 42 disposals) and Alex Davies (one goal, 36 disposals) for Gold Coast, Nick Haynes (32 disposals, 13 marks) in GWS’ loss to Carlton, Jarryd Lyons (two goals, 32 disposals) and Henry Smith (three goals, 21 disposals) in Brisbane’s win over Casey and Nick Bryan (20 disposals, 50 hitouts) in Essendon’s win over Port Melbourne.

Werribee remain on top of the ladder with 11 wins from 13 games while Brisbane and Footscray sit second and third with 10-3 records.
