SENQ 693am goes full Queenslander

If you’re not a Queenslander, you’re not welcome.
That’s the message from SENQ 693am this Wednesday as the station goes full-on Maroon for 24 hours.
For the entire day, it will be all about Queensland. Only Queensland voices, texts only from Queenslanders, and on the phones, only Queensland talkback callers.
“If you’ve got an ounce of NSW blood in you, don’t bother on Wednesday,” said SENQ 693am Breakfast host and passionate Queenslander Ian Healy.
“There’s not a chance we’re letting any typical negative NSW energy into our station. Just like every one of our listeners, we’re getting right behind the mighty Maroons to bring it home at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night.”

The day begins from midnight with a 6-hour Maroon Marathon of interviews on Pure Origin - First Choice Liquor Market – Australia’s best liquor retailer. The “King” Wally Lewis and the “Goat” Cameron Smith are among those who sit down and share their journey and memories in Maroon.
Kicking off the day on SENQ 693am will be Queensland legends Corey Parker and Pat Welsh for breakfast. Then throughout the day, it’s nothing but Queensland. Cam Smith, Ben Davis, Scott Sattler and Mat Rogers talking all things Origin in the lead up to the game. The Run Home with Scott Sattler and Mat Rogers will broadcast live from the Suncorp Stadium forecourt from 3pm.
Then that night, it’s a totally one-eyed biased call - Maroons Radio.
Drury Forbes, Scott Sattler and Mat Rogers will call all the action from Suncorp Stadium through their unashamed, Maroon-coloured glasses.
“I think it’s up there with one of our biggest deciders,” said Queensland legend Scott Sattler.
“And Queenslanders know that we’ll be cheering on every try, every big tackle and every magical Queensland moment right here on SENQ 693am.”
