Head of bloodstock at Ciaron Maher Racing, Will Bourne, has given a strong push for one of the stable’s Caulfield Cup-bound gallopers.

Sayedaty Sadaty is the name of the horse and Bourne says the international galloper will be having his final Northern Hemisphere run on Thursday night at Goodwood in the Gordon Stakes before he heads to Australia on a Caulfield Cup path.

“One to follow on Thursday night our time at Goodwood is Sayedaty Sadaty,” Bourne told SENTrack.

“This horse is now being trained by David Simcock and he’s a horse you need to watch on Thursday night, he’s going very well, he’s a three-year-old who was bought out of Epsom Derby by Australian Bloodstock.

“The form has really stacked up out of the Epsom Derby and we’re going into Thursday night with a lot of confidence.

“He’ll be trained by Ciaron in Melbourne and he’s over there now looking at these horses and looking at their work.

“David has been very happy with the horse and he was keen to give the horse a run before sending him out to Ciaron and he’s chosen the Gordon Stakes on Thursday night and he’ll go very close to winning with all the feedback we’re getting.

“We’re really happy with him and he’ll target the Caulfield Cup at this stage.”

Sayedaty Sadaty is currently a $34 chance in the Caulfield Cup and is a $4.80 hope on Thursday night in the Gordon Stakes.

Should they also target the Melbourne Cup, you can get $41 with Sportsbet.
