New Zealand's newest A-League club, Auckland FC, took to the field for the very first time on Wednesday, taking on neighbours Auckland United in a local derby.
The Black Knights went behind twice in the match, which ended in a 2-2 draw in front of a sizable crowd at Keith Hay Park who were eager to catch a glimpse of the new franchise in action.
Although they were without their imports, Steve Corica used the occasion to put a host of players on trial and test the depth of his squad, which still has six roster spots left to fill.
Corica joined SENZ Mornings host Riccardo Ball, who was on hand for the match, to dive into all the talking points and get an overall picture of how the team is tracking heading into their debut season.
