Race 9, No.9 - Aramco ($3.40)

A five-time winner in top form, Aramco appears to be on the rise.

He delivered a career-best performance last start on a Soft 7 track, but he’s also proven on a Good 4 surface, so the drying track shouldn’t be an issue.

He carries 2.5kg less than his previous win and, despite stepping up in class, this race lacks depth.

With little speed in the race, he’ll likely push forward from barrier 9 to settle on the pace, making him difficult to run down.

Race 10, No.6 - Willaidow ($3.40)

Willaidow impressed last start despite strong winds that made it challenging for front runners.

He was resilient over the 1200m but was hindered by the conditions of the day

With James McDonald retaining the ride and a favourable wide draw from the 1200m start, expect McDonald to position him well off the rail to find the best ground and prove too strong in the late.

Value Bet

Race 3, No.4 - Zarrose ($8)

Happy to take on the short priced favourite Invader Zim who had the perfect run last start, gets to a dry track and goes up in weight.

Zarose is building a nice record, finds a suitable map with plenty of speed engaged and gains the services of Zac Lloyd.

Looks like a big threat to the favourite.
