(LEG 8) Randwick Race 8 #10 SHEZANALISTER
She might be the play here for your UPC Showdown. She won brilliantly first-up with the big weight and she was a victim of the low draw last time out when in the worst going, forget that run. Lands right behind the lead speed and has a fitness edge on the one at the top of the market (SCHWARZ). She’s got a sharp turn of foot and Jason Collett will try to produce her late to blouse them over the concluding stages.

(LEG 1) Sunshine Coast Race 4 #11 HOOT N HOLLER
She was well supported last start at Doomben and just got shut out at a crucial stage when bolting in behind them. She finished last, but went across the line in second gear, so a complete forgive. The start prior, she was good in a strong form race, with multiple Saturday metro winners coming through that race. She’ll need to get the breaks at the right time from the wide draw, but the 53kg can help negate that.

(LEG 9) Sunshine Coast Race 8 #20 FIND YOUR OWN
He’s a really progressive sprinter from the Scott Morrisey barn who has been in the quinella in five of his seven starts. While the majority of his form has been over the shorter 800m distances, we’ve seen him trial really well over 1000m, and given he’s a nice big strong horse, I don’t see the extra furlong being any concern. He’s drawn a nice low gate, he can roll forward under Michael Rodd and I expect him to be right thereabouts when the whips are cracking.
