Midweek racing Queensland today comes from the Sunshine Coast where the track has been posted a Heavy (8) this morning. We’re in for a mostly sunny day with a top of 25 degrees forecast.

RACE 2 # 7 LAYDOWNLILY

Won here over this trip on heavy (10) ground first up last prep & figures to lead comfortably today. Will take plenty of running down.

RACE 5 # 6 FARWEST

Favourite Meat Pie Artie hard to beat on paper, the issue is the trip which is an unknown for him. Farwest placed over this distance in town recently & just got too far back the latest. He’ll run it right out & I’ll lean his way.

RACE 7 # 5 NEW HAMPSHIRE

Feeling is he only has to get through the heavy going to win this. Not seen anything worse than a soft (5) to date however on form this really suits second up rising to 1200m.
