Race 8, No.6 - Fangirl

The proven WFA performer who is 7:3-1-2 first-up, 6:3-1-1 at this track and trip and looks to have come back in fine order.

The booking of J Mac to ride over Via Sistina is a huge push to how she's come back given her injury last prep.

She's clearly the best placed to fire first-up, while her nearest rivals have bigger targets over further in the Spring.

I have her marked 2.10, I think we'll see bookies willing to risk her at some stage and we'll get closer to $2.50 before jump time

Race 4, No.5 - Miss You Ella

Now 5th up this mare is building to a win this prep.

She jumped into the black book two starts back when solid against the pattern of the day, before being held up late last start.

She should have finished much closer on that occasion and if she did she'd be single figures here.

She gets a jockey upgrade with Zac Lloyd jumping on and will no doubt give a huge sight at big odds.

Race 7, No.8 - Joliestar

She looks like a star on the rise who's shown her best over the mile but does have a strong first-up record of 3:2-1-0.

She relishes good tracks, gains the services of J-Mac and arrives here off two nice trials.

This is a very winnable race for a mare who possesses genuine Group 1 talent and I expect her to be too classy for this lot.

I have her marked $3.00 and am more than happy to bet into the $3.40 available.
