The Ciaron Maher runner that is “clearly the best each-way play” of the weekend

Mick Gannon has rated Miss You Ella as the best each-way play of the day at Randwick on Saturday.

The Ciaron Maher-trained galloper heads into this clash with plenty of race fitness under her belt and she looks a live chance in an open market.

Staying at the 1600m trip for her third consecutive start, Gannon was taken by her luckless run last start and is buoyed by the booking of jockey Zac Lloyd.

“Miss You Ella is a horse that I’ve been stamping to follow and we’re finally going to back her this time around,” Gannon told SENTrack’s Giddy Up.

“You’re getting a good price as well, $18 is the best each-way play of the day.

“I think she’s a really easy bet to have, she was luckless last start and probably should’ve finish within half a length and she was beaten by four lengths.

“She gets the jockey upgrade with Ash Morgan to Zac Lloyd, I wouldn’t have minded her going out in distance but we’ll cop the 1600m again.

“I think Miss You Ella is clearly the best each-way play of the day.”

Miss You Ella will jump from barrier five in the fourth race of the day.
