Suns defender claims 2024 B&F, star shockingly misses out on a top 10 finish

Sam Collins has claimed Gold Coast’s 2024 best and fairest overnight, highlighting what has been an incredible run with the club since being delisted by Fremantle in 2017.

It his second Suns B&F, after winning in 2020, joining Gary Ablett, Tom Lynch and Touk Miller as multiple time winners.

Second-year defender Bodhi Uwland finished second in the award, breaking out as a reliable lockdown back in 2024.

Midfielders Sam Flanders, Matt Rowell and Noah Anderson round out the top five.

Despite playing all 22 games and kicking 29 more goals than any other Sun, Ben King surprisingly missed out on a top 10 finish.
