RACE 5 – All-new Toyota Landcruiser Prado Class 1 Handicap (1300m)

2 – Paris Lad – will have to overcome widest draw but benefits from NSW Premiership winning jockey Ash Morgan. Strong last start at Moree in Country Boosted Class 1 and finds suitable second-up race.

1 – Bush Telegraph – first up and heads to this with good trial performance earlier this week under its belt. Accepted at Scone on Friday 27 September with rider declared.

4 – Release Point - Also accepted to race at Scone on Friday 27 September and Tamworth on Monday 30 September with riders declared. Lightly raced and finds a moderate Class 1.

4 – Ain’t She Well – newcomer to the Garry Lunn stable and comes to this with three-month break. Last start Super Maiden winner at Tamworth over 1400m.

RACE 6 – XXXX Gold Vincent Gordon Flying Handicap (1100m)

2 – Gallant Star – Confirmed Kosciuszko contender who heads to this race as its only start ahead of the $2 million country feature of The Everest Day. A winner twice as a two-year-old at Dubbo over 1100m, Highway winner and runner-up in the Country Championships final. Appears a more mature and stronger horse. Will settled midfield or slightly worse and will be hitting the line strongly.

5 – Tanglewood – first emergency but has gained a start in race 10 at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday, so may opt to head there with rider declared. Confirmed Kosciuszko contender coming off a last start 1000m midweek win on the Kensington track running home 33.84 (last 600m). Second-up record is terrific (3:2-0-0) and draw well in barrier four to find a handy position in running.

15 – Lonhro’s Queen – having strung three consecutive wins together, including back-to-back Highway wins, the strength of this race tells when a horse of Lonhro’s Queen is an emergency. Two quality trials has this galloper primed first up.

4 – Driving Force – ultra-consistent with its key being to be kept fresh, Driving Force was excellent first up winning at Tamworth over 1000m in good time. Like Gallant Star, will settle midfield or worse, but will be running through the line.

RACE 7 – Dubbo City & Gilgandra Toyota Dubbo Gold Cup (1600m)

6 – Thunderlips – Rachel King and Bjorn Baker paired to win the 2023 Dubbo Gold Cup with Iknowastar. Steps up to the mile for the first time, but has progressed well this preparation with sound performances in Saturday BM78 company. By Zoustar, so 1600m looks ideal.

5 – Medatsu – midfield last start in the Listed Wyong Cup following back-to-back Saturday wins over 1500m and 1600m. Also accepted to race at Rosehill on Saturday 28 September. Tyler Schiller takes the steer with 56kg.

7 – Vivy Air – Contested the Group 1 1000 Guineas, Group 2 Sandown Guineas and Group 2 Tranquil Star as a three-year-old and looking for its first win in 12 months. Recent form has been strong over 1500m in Saturday BM78 grade and gets weight relief here with apprentice Zac Lloyd to ride on the minimum.

14 – Smooth Esprit – was terrific first up in the Panorama following a strong tempo to finish third. On home track and a winner over the mile three times. Highway winner and work has been very strong.

RACE 8 – Arrowfield Country Magic Plate (1100m)

3 – Kreon – accepted to race at Rosehill Gardens in BM78 city grade but keep options open on which direction to head enroute to the Kosciuszko. Limitless potential and was devastating last start winning an Benchmark 66 Handicap over 1000m by 5.5 lengths on its home track.

1 – Deion – lightly raced, with two wins and two placings from five starts. First up record is two from two tempered by barrier 20. Working strongly at home and a great value chance.

4 – Magnus Red – the stable has targeted this race for some time and this son of Magnus is primed for this race on its home track. Three-month spell and heads to this race first up. A winner over 1100m in Victorian provincial grade.

2 – Shipshape – former Godolphin galloper that was purchased online for $65,000 and a half to Camaguey. Creditable performances in Highway grade before going for a spell. Heads to this first up.
