Sam Hyland & Miles Pfitzner's top three Cox Plate seeds

Miles Pfitzner and Sam Hyland have rated their top three Cox Plate seeds.

The field for the great weight-for-age contest is taking shape with a number of key lead-up races pointing punters in the right direction around the likely runnes competing at The Valley on October 26.

Japanese star Prognosis is the current favourite with Pride Of Jenni, Broadsiding, Mr Brightside and Via Sistina rounding out the top five in the market.

“I’m firmly in the Via Sistina camp, I think the $11 is a silly price.

“He’s a nice price at $6 and he’s ranked second.

3. Prognosis

“The Japanese galloper jumps in at third but you also can’t ignore the great mate Mr Brightside and in a high pressure 2000m race I just don’t quite have Pride Of Jenni there.”
