Race 2 | 1. Atlantic Spirit (small bet)

I’m sticking with my little girl No.1 Atlantic Spirit who is again at odds. She needs the pace on hence the drift I suspect. Only seven runners and I do think she’s a huge chance. Ran third in a better race to this and she drops to a mares race.

HAWKESBURY

Race 6 | 3. Gatsby's

Finally finds a wet track and watch for improvement here. I’ve had something each-way on him.

Race 7 | 2. Lady Laguna

Is another class galloper who likes these conditions and will get every chance from a good draw. Comes out of stronger races to this and is the one to beat.

Race 8 | 5. Punch Lane (BEST)

Was amazing last week coming across from the outside gate setting a strong pace and kept on running. Draws soft here to bounce straight on the bunny again and lead all the way. 2/2 fourth up.

Race 7 | 3. Oxford Blue

Better drawn than the fave and gets to the 2000m which suits. Got beat by a good one last start and I think this is a tad easier which will allow Shinn to get him home.

Race 9 | 10. Sunshineinmypocket

Not happy with the gate but the jockey is flying so I’ll trust him to get it done. Comes out of the right races and back to the 1400m is perfect.

Race 6 | 2. Snitzanova

Had a brilliant first prep and has trialled well. Handles the heavy and drawn nicely to stalk the speed!

Race 9 | 9. Fire Star

Had zero luck resuming and always runs nicely second up! Heavy track no issue and will sit OSL and be very hard to catch with the extra fitness.
