Miles Pfitzner & David Taggart have your Wednesday sorted on Trackside.

The lads have taken a close look at Sandown, Warwick Farm & Balaklava in a bid to find the family some winners.

See their best bets below:👇

Miles Pfitzner

SANDOWN

Race 3 | 3. Bluestone

Winner of its last three and can make it 4/4. Good here last start over this trip and should just do it again. Field here weak enough if not weaker than last start.

Race 8 | 17. Trembles

Had an early two bet play this race with the Cliff Brown runner scratched has this race at its mercy. Looks a big jump in grade but this horse is up to this. Only knock is the gate, don’t want to miss the start and be back. Had to be outside leader which I think can happen.

WARWICK FARM

Race 6 | 8. Manaajem

One from the Dean Watling trials. Go back and have a look at those two as well as the two starts and right in this. Went around $3.20 on debut and spanked them. Looks a really nice 3yo filly.

BALAKLAVA

Race 7 | 4. Saint Michael

Finally get this horse third up. Where it runs better deeper in preps. Winner over 1550m at Morphettville in better grade last prep. Finds a weak enough BM56 here. Tick.

David Taggart

SANDOWN

Race 3 | 3. Bluestone

Is an up and coming stayer who is looking to win three in a row to start off this prep. Got into a little trouble last start and still won defeating Diwali who went on and won the Sandown Cup on Sunday. Form reads good, great barrier with an inform hoop on.

Race 4 | 2. Grinzinger Pod

Drops significantly in grade and if she can bring those runs she wins. Does draw the outside gate of eight and I would suspect she will get back and run on.

Race 7 | 3. Grid Girl

Was scratched Saturday and kept for this. Significant class drop from last run where she was less than two away and draws pole to get the perfect run. Form has stood up around her through Hughes from three runs back.

WARWICK FARM

Race 5 | 1. Black Run

Has been knocking on the door in his first Australian prep and he does find his race here. Will go forward from an outside gate and control the race. Up And Under is the only danger and he is a winner of just one from 19.

Race 6 | 8. Manaajem

Resumes and clearly she has ability. Bolted her maiden in on debut before needing the paddock when she didn’t come on as an odds on pop. Trials have been good on wet ground and she is clearly the one to beat.
