It was a tough run and best to forgive. Drawn in barrier 8, apprentice Osmond takes 2kg off and is likely to push forward and land in a handy spot on the speed. Back against her own sex, she looks primed to run a bold race at generous odds.

Randwick Race 6 #6 Hasty Honey Shapes as a two-horse contest with Pink Shalala, with both likely to settle near the front in what looks a tactical affair.

Hasty Honey produced a strong performance fresh and should take good improvement second-up, especially stepping up to 1550m. Maps to control the race or sit close to it and looks capable of upsetting the favourite, who has had plenty of chances.
