If the Kangaroos were to start their Ashes campaign tomorrow, Nathan Cleary would be the No. 7 backed in by Corey Parker and Ian Healy.
Following the appointment of Kevin Walters as Mal Meninga’s replacement for the forthcoming series against England, speculation over who makes the flight to the UK has begun.
Neither Healy or Parker had room for Latrell Mitchell, Tino Fa’asuamaleaui or Payne Haas and both had Wally Lewis Medal winner Tom Dearden on the interchange bench.
