Value Player: Magpie midfielder shines in Finals Week 1

The National Tiles Value Player is in for Finals Week 1!

After an underrated midfield performance, unsung Magpie Ned Long takes out the honour after his performance in Collingwood's Qualifying Final win over the Crows at the Adelaide Oval.

Long had 23 disposals and picked up nine tackles, often playing on and keeping Crows captain Jordan Dawson relatively quiet.

The 22-year-old also had two goal assists, one pass to assist, one free kick and centre clearance all in the opening few minutes of the third quarter as the Magpies put some distance between them and the Crows after half-time!
