Collingwood legend Scott Pendlebury has been subbed out of the Magpies’ preliminary final against the Lions.

Having started on ball for Collingwood, the 425-game player would be quickly taken to the bench within the first eight minutes of the match with a calf injury.

And on Fox Footy during the quarter time break, Jon Ralph declared that the injury was severe enough that Pendlebury would miss the Grand Final should the Pies win.

"Let's cut to the chase, his season is over," Ralph said.

In other injury news, Brisbane’s Jarrod Berry has been subbed out of the game after appearing to have dislocated his shoulder.

The wingman came off the ground with medical staff assisting him off the ground after missing a tackle on Nick Daicos in the second quarter.

As a result, Bruce Reville has been subbed in the game.

Defender Ryan Lester has also come off the ground with an head injury although he was able return to the field.

Josh Dunkley was also taken into the rooms to get checked out following an injury in the third quarter.

More to come.
