SEN Breakfast’s Garry Lyon and Tim Watson has identified who they believe to be the most important players in this year’s AFL Grand Final.
Lyon and Watson assessed both Geelong and Brisbane to came up with the five players they feel are most vital to their club’s premiership fortunes.
The Cats and Lions clash in the season decider at the MCG this Saturday from 2:30pm AEST.

Watson: “I almost had Darcy Wilmot in my top five. I think he’s a back-half superstar.”
They also looked at the other end of the importance scale, highlighting the ‘bottom of the depth’ chart at each club.
Watson: “The exercise was how good are these teams when you actually look and try to work out who might be their five least effective talented players.”
Lyon: “These so-called bottom five or least effective would be in the top five at other teams. That’s why they’re in the Grand Final.
“We’re not trying to run these players down, we’re just trying to get a sense of the depth.”
