Snoop Dogg sizzles with incredible performance

The most hotly anticipated Grand Final entertainment in years certainly delivered with Snoop Dogg starring before the 2025 AFL Grand Final.

The American rapper opened his show by walking out onto the hallowed turf with The Next Episode, before he entered the stage where he performed Nuthin' But A G' Thang.

Snoop also played Drop It Like It's Hot, Sweat, Signs, Beautiful (feat. Jessica Mauboy), Still D.R.E (feat. Baker Boy), Gin and Juice and Who Am I (What's My Name?) (feat. Tash Sultana), with the 53-year-old making sure the MCG fans got into the swing of things with some real crowd favourites

The entire act was reminiscent of his huge Super Bowl LVI performance.

Snoop certainly lived up to the hopes and expectations of footy and rap fans around the country.

Earlier this week, Snoop showed off his impressive footy skills with the Daicos brothers at the MCG before declaring he is “in love” with the sport.

"I've been coming to this country for years and I understand what this game is and what it means," he told Australian media at a function where no questions were permitted.

"I know that it's not just a sport, it's a way of life. I just fell in love with the sport," he added.

"I always would watch it, but never really understood it.

"It reminded me of American football, rugby and a couple of other things, but now that I understand it, I like it and want to know more about it before the grand finale."
