Will Ashcroft has been named the Norm Smith Medallist for a second-straight season.
The star Lion was again huge for his side on the biggest day of the year as Brisbane beat Geelong by 47 points in the 2025 AFL Grand Final.
The 21-year-old helped himself to 32 disposals, one goal and 10 clearances as the Lions pulled away late to get the job done.
He becomes the third back-to-back Norm Smith winner, following Andrew McLeod (1997-98) and Dustin Martin (2019-2020). He also becomes the fifth overall multiple time winner, with Luke Hodge and Gary Ayres also in that group.
It was a tough Norm Smith group this year with all of Zac Bailey (three goals, 23 disposals), Hugh McCluggage (four goals, 26 disposals), Charlie Cameron (four goals) and Dayne Zorko (28 disposals) starring.
The voting panel compromised of previous winners Andrew McLeod and Luke Hodge, ex-AFLW star Kate McCarthy, Richmond great Jack Riewoldt, and West Coast premiership winning coach Adam Simpson.
