9:43pm James Tedesco wins NRL Dally M

James Tedesco has won the Dally M medal.

The favourite for the award going in, this is Tedesco's second Dally M award.

Tedesco also won his fourth RLPA Players' Champion award this week.

The Roosters' fullback played every game this season, scoring 11 tries and notching 22 try assists and 21 line breaks.

Tedesco last won the award in 2019.

9:34PM Tamika Upton wins NRLW Dally M

Tamika Upton has won the NRLW Dally M medal of the year after an incredible season.

Jesse Southwell, Julia Robinson, and Isabelle Kelly round out the top four.

It came down to the final game of the season with Julia Robinson and Tamika Upton both polling three points.

Upton ultimately walks away with 35 points and a second Dally M medal.

She is the first female player to win the Dally M twice.

James Tedesco is racing away with this tally with 56 points after 23 rounds. Kalyn Ponga won the 2023 Dally M with the same total.

Nathan Cleary is rapdily running him down however, roaring into the top five, while Blayke Brailey is quickly racing up the leaderboard too.

9:16pm NRL Captain of the Year

James Tedesco has been named the NRL Captain of the Year for the second time.

Tedesco, the favourite for the NRL Dally M award, has led the Roosters since 2021.

The fullback claimed his seventh Jack Gibson Medal for Roosters' Player of the Year in his eight seasons at the club.

The Roosters had multiple debutants in 2025, with Tedesco leading his side to the finals after his side lost over 2000 games of experience heading into this season.


9:12pm NRLW Captain of the Year

The Roosters complete the captain/coach double with Isabelle Kelly winning NRLW Captain of the Year.

Kelly, who is also a contender for the Dally M medal, leads from the centres and has been integral to their run of 18 straight wins and their perfect season thus far in 2025.

Kelly also represented NSW and Australia in 2025, and will lead the Roosters out in their grand final against the Broncos on Sunday.


9:07pm NRLW Coach of the Year

Sydney Roosters' coach John Strange has been named NRLW Coach of the Year.

Strange's Roosters are undefeated so far going into the NRLW grand final as they aim for back-to-back premierships.

The Roosters have gone 12-0 in 2025, with Strange leading the Roosters to 18 straight wins dating back to last season.

Strange is also the coach of the NSW Blues Women's side who won the Origin series this season.


9:01pm NRL Coach of the Year

Ricky Stuart has been named the NRL Coach of the Year.

Tipped by many to struggle in season 2025, the Raiders shocked the NRL to win the minor premiership for the first time in 37 years.

Ultimately going out in straight sets in the finals, Stuart's work throughout the season to galvanise his young core has been above the rest.

He beat out Bulldogs' coach Cameron Ciraldo and Broncos' coach Michael Maguire for the award.

8:49pm Ken Stephens Medal

Kieran Foran has won the Ken Stephens Medal for his community work in his final season in the NRL.

Retiring after 17 seasons, Foran is a passionate mental health advocate through his partnership with the Top Blokes Foundation and by launching Logan's Legacy.

Logan's Legacy was founded in memory of Foran's stepson, who lost his battle with mental health in 2023. Today would have been Logan's birthday

Foran was an advocate for mental health all through his NRL career, opening up through his career about his own mental health struggles.


8:45pm Veronica White Medal

Sharks' Rhiannon Byers has won the Veronica White medal for her outstanding community work advocating for Indigenous issues and mental health.

Byers works within schools educating close to 400 young Indigenous students annually.


8:40pm NRL Rookie of the Year

Robert Toia has won the 2025 NRL Rookie of the Year award after a sensational first season.

The Roosters' centre has beaten out Eels' fullback Isaiah Iongi and Warriors' second rower Leka Halasima for the award.

Toia made his State of Origin debut for Queensland after just 10 NRL games, ultimately playing the entire season to win the series.

Toia played 22 times in 2025, scoring seven tries and notching eight try assists and nine line breaks.


8:35pm NRLW Rookie of the Year

Brisbane Broncos' prop Shalom Sauaso has been named NRLW Rookie of the Year.

Also winning the RLPA Bench Player of the Year award, Sauaso beat out Dragons' Indie Bostock and Raiders' Elise Simpson for the award.

Sauaso has scored four tries in nine appearances, averaging 138 metres in an average of 41 minutes a a game.


8:29pm NRL Dally M Leaderboard Rounds 13-18

The NRL are updating the leaderboard by announcing the points of those in the top 10 at the end of each group of rounds.

Between Rounds 13 and 18, James Tedesco has surged into top spot, polling in every Roosters' game in that period to add 14 points to his total.

Despite facing the impact of Origin, Tom Dearden gained 11 points while Dolphins' halfback Isaiya Katoa also collected 14 points.

Warriors' halfback Luke Metcalf was on top of the leaderboard when voting went behind closed doors, but injured his ACL in Round 17, ending his Dally M campaign on 40 points after gaining nine points. Daly Cherry-Evans also gained nine points throughout that period to be in the top 10 after Round 18.

The votes have been revealed for Rounds 6 to 8 of the NRLW.

Jakiya Whitfeld, Tamika Upton, Julia Robinson, and Emma Verran polled in all three rounds to shoot to the top of the NRLW Dally M leaderboard.

Julia Robinson polled 11 votes over the three rounds to shoot to the top of the leaderboard.

The updated leaderboard is as follows:

James Tedesco is the favourite to win the men's Dally M award, which would make it his second time winning rugby league's most coveted award.

Tedesco will have challenges from Nathan Cleary, Payne Haas, and Isaiya Katoa, amongst others but is in the box seat after winning his record fourth-RLPA Players' Champion award.

Broncos' fullback Tamika Upton is the favourite for the women's award, which would make her the first female player to win the Dally M twice, having won it in 2023.

Upton currently leads the NRLW in tries, line breaks, try assists and line break assists heading into the grand final on Sunday.
