Caulfield Cup barrier draw: Favourite lands cushy gate

Caulfield Cup favourite Half Yours has drawn a plush barrier for this Saturday's $5 million Group 1.

The Tony and Calvin McEvoy-trained gelding, who will be ridden by Jamie Melham, has landed a favourable gate 2 for the 2400m handicap.

International raider Meydaan drew a handy barrier 5 for Simon and Ed Crisford who narrowly missed the 2023 Caulfield Cup with runner-up West Wind Blows.

Other key runners: Middle Earth drew barrier 3, Vauban drew gate 13, Royal Supremacy drew 6 and Japanese raider Golden Snap copped the visitors' draw with 18.
