With the AFL’s list lodgement deadline looming on Friday, several clubs are making final calls on their squads ahead of the 2025 drafts.

Each club needs at least three senior list spots to take part in the National Draft, while some clubs will want much more space on their list than that to bring in a raft of youngsters.

With clubs now set on how many players they’d like to add from the National and Rookie Drafts this off-season, some late calls are being made on re-signings and delistings post the Trade Period.

Check out some of the late moves so far on list lodgement day.

Dow delisted

Richmond have made the late decision to delist Thomson Dow.

Dow played 45 games for the Tigers across six seasons after being taken with pick No. 21 in the 2019 Draft.

He won't be re-drafted by the Tigers in the upcoming drafts.

Sonsie re-signs

Richmond’s Tyler Sonsie has inked a deal for the 2026 season after being made to wait until list lodgement day to receive an assurance about his future.

Sonsie featured 16 times in 2025, taking his overall tally to 40.

Suns delist midfielder and upgrade wingman

Gold Coast have delisted Ben Jepson but have assured the one-gamer that he’ll be selected again in the 2025 Rookie Draft.

Meanwhile, former rookie Sam Clohesy has earned his way onto the club’s senior list having played 34 games across the last two seasons.

Dons delist Setterfield

Big-bodied midfielder Will Setterfield has been delisted by the Dons.

While Setterfield played 13 games in 2025, his season was cut short by a foot injury which may have ultimately cost him a list spot.

The 84-gamer will be looked at again by the Dons during the National and Rookie Drafts as well as the SSP period, but has been given no assurances that he’ll return to the list for 2026.

Adelaide father-son delisted

The Crows have finalised their list ahead of the draft, with young forward Tyler Welsh delisted on list-lodgement day.

While the father-son has been cut, the club has assured him they will re-draft him as a rookie next month.

Adelaide hold picks 16, 48, 55 and 64 in the 2025 AFL Draft
