After 345 games with North Melbourne and Essendon, Todd Goldstein will officially retire from the AFL.
Having played 18 seasons with the majority spent at the Kangaroos, he was one of the premier ruckmen throughout the 2010s, with his crowning achievement being selected for the 2015 All-Australian team and winning the club's best and fairest medal in the same year.
Throughout his career, he managed 10,608 hitouts, which is the most in VFL/AFL history, with the next closest being Aaron Sandilands on 8,502, showing his longevity.
The 201cm player would announce the decision on Instagram on the post below.
In his lengthy post, he would thank both clubs that helped him grow as a player and individual.
While he may be retired from AFL, Goldstein will still be playing in 2026 for the Pascoe Vale Panthers in the EDFL.
