While we’re still 84 days out from the start of the 2026 AFL season, some of our SEN experts are already making some early big calls.

Next up was SEN WA Breakfast duo Tim Gossage and Scott Cummings and they went through their picks for the premiership, Brownlow Medal, Coleman Medal, Rising Star, riser, slider, wooden spoon and even the coach under the most pressure.

Check them out below!

PREMIERS

Gossage: Fremantle

“Yep, it's their year. They are ready."

Cummings: Fremantle

“Welcome aboard.”

BROWNLOW MEDAL

Gossage: Josh Weddle (Hawthorn)

“I’ve got Josh Weddle. He’s $251 to win (with Sportsbet). I think he can win the Brownlow if he is used properly.”

Cummings: Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (St Kilda)

“I'm going to go with this guy because his team will be better and he’ll stand out more. Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera.”

COLEMAN MEDAL

Gossage: Ben King (Gold Coast)

“He finished second last year, it’s Ben King for me in 2026.”

Cummings: Ben King (Gold Coast)

“They'll be a better team, he'll get better delivery, they'll win more games and he'll be the beneficiary of that.”

RISING STAR

Gossage: Dyson Sharp (Essendon)

“Dyson Sharp for me, the South Australian who's at Essendon.”

Cummings: Willem Duursma (West Coast)

“It's going to be Willem Duursma.

“I'm just watching him move at training and I think he's going to have a big impact straight away.”

RISER

Gossage: Essendon

“I'm saying a team that I believe will be significantly better is Essendon.

“I believe Essendon will be better. I just see them being much better, especially if they get a better injury run.”

Cummings: Fremantle

“My biggest riser's Fremantle. I'm going to double down again.

“Fremantle will go from 6th to 1st and they'll be the biggest riser.”

SLIDER

Gossage: Collingwood

Cummings: Carlton

WOODEN SPOON

Gossage: Melbourne

“My wooden spooner is Melbourne.

“I'm really concerned about them, really concerned.”

Cummings: North Melbourne

“North Melbourne for me, yep.

“Their list had to get better, and I don’t think it did. I don’t think Clarko is a development coach either.”

“I can see West Coast being better than North.”

COACH UNDER THE MOST PRESSURE

Gossage: Justin Longmuir (Fremantle)

“Justin Longmuir for me, do you see where I’m going?”

Cummings: Alastair Clarkson (North Melbourne)

“With North finishing on the bottom, Clarko will have to come under extreme pressure.

“It was a toss-up between him and Vossy, but for me it’s Clarko.”
