Which AFL teams will make the top 10 in 2026?

That is one of the key questions we asked in the 2025 SEN AFL Fan Survey.

The league made the controversial decision to add a Wildcard Finals Round for season 2026, giving a one-off chance to the teams that finish ninth and 10th.

So instead of the regular top 8, we now have to consider a top 10.

Our results so far tell us that 98.7% of voters believe back-to-back premiers the Brisbane Lions will certainly play finals again.

Five other clubs have received more than 90% of votes to make the 10 including Hawthorn (96.8%), Geelong (96.7%), Gold Coast (96.1%), Adelaide (94.2%) and Fremantle (91.9%).

GWS (86.7%), Sydney (86.5%), Western Bulldogs (85.9%) and Collingwood (63%) make up our fan-voted top 10.
