Boxing Day Test squad: Two big changes as Lyon set for surgery

Australia has named a 15-man squad for the Boxing Day Test.

Paceman Jhye Richardson and spinner Todd Murphy have come into the squad ahead of the fourth Test in Melbourne which kicks off on Friday.

Captain Pat Cummins will not play at the MCG as part of his ongoing management plan for his back injury. He remains likely to return for the Sydney Test in early January.

Nathan Lyon is out of the squad due to the torn right hamstring he sustained on Day 5 in Adelaide. He is set for surgery on the injury.
