Atkinson ruled out for Sydney Test

England fast bowler Gus Atkinson has been ruled out for the remainder of the Ashes series.

This comes after scans revealed that the right armer had injured his left hamstring during Day 2 of the Boxing Day Test.

He is now the latest English bowler to have had his series finish earlier than expected, with Mark Wood and Jofra Archer having both been ruled out.

Atkinson will not be replaced in the England squad.
