Cam Luke & David Taggart have your Wednesday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Warwick Farm, Eagle Farm & Devonport in a bid to find the family some winners.

WARWICK FARM
Race 1 | 7. Pepe (each-way)
Is a very open race and I expect the favourite (Our Huntress) to be able to control it and be very hard to run down but I actually think this bloke was OK in the first prep in Victoria. Clearly he is a horse who's going to look for a mile and further into this prep The 1400 metre kick off I like, the Grima Claim is a plus and the fact did he trialled well without being asked to do a huge amount but still ran through the line suggests he can run well fresh. It is an open race and I have a few in the EQ but Pepe will run way better than his odds suggest.
Race 2 | 14. Miss Supernova
Was really good resuming where she just ran out of grass to get the noggin down but the quicker turn around (last time was six weeks before runs) helps She wasn't exactly in the best of rhythm in transit last start so with some speed today probably supplied by Verlander (owned by G.Hall) should be better in the run. She has fitness on all outside of the Fave but he had every chance to win last start and being back to the 1200m I think works against him. Good track works for her and in the small field luck shouldn’t play a part and she should be too classy!
Race 3 | 4. Berezka & 9. Infusion (both top four)
No doubt a little frustration for the Panthers only one win from 11 starts but always runs really well and a lot of the times in tougher races than this. Their only win was first up which she is today, she is tried up really well without being asked to do too much, and she was on the back of Kings Secret and Spywire last prep which looks like great form for this. There isn't a huge amount of speed on paper so I would like AM from that perfect draw to sit right on the back of whoever leads and stalk and I have no doubt will be in the finish. If you want to be real exotic here include Infusion ($15) This is easier than last start where a bad gate didn’t help! Had trialled up really well and was in the market resuming. Best form been on Heavy but I'm not labelling her a wet tracker yet, if she stretches out on the firmer deck, she will lead and run a really bold race!
Race 5 | 4. Man Of Worth
Was dominant on Boxing Day when box setting and never leaving rail but never looked like getting beat. J Mac goes on today which adds another dimension, he's perfectly drawn to have the identical run this start and staying at the 1600 in a tougher race is a great call! The from around Hereward two back is great for this and now he has found winning confidence I expect it to continue. One out in the Quad!!
DEVONPORT
Race 2 | 2. Bayside
Had no luck second up when drawn wide and stayed wide so forget that run, has run well third up before and is drawn better to stalk the speed today. Two kg claim helps as does staying at the 1350 after fast run race last start. He does love the syntho and get all conditions to bounce back to that 1st up form!
Race 3 | 3. Stroak Of Art
Was an even close last start but this is so much easier I can help her be intrigued. Drops back in distance from the 1400m which with the 3kg claim from the low draw suggests this horse will be very close to the front of the field. The claim has it carrying less than it did last start in a much more suitable race, The Fave Ozonica was great on debut (started $1.40)but this is way tougher and I think Art will be able to stalk him when he tries crossing from a wider gate!
Race 4 | 7. Rebel's Girl (each-way)
Disappointing on debut at this track last prep before it was tipped out and has clearly come back better. Has had a couple of really good trials in readiness for this, the claim from Wells is a big tick, and I like this kick-off distance this prep off 2 trails rather than the one before debut! Wont be far off them from that gate and at that price is great value.
Race 6 | 8. Bright Night
First crack at the 1600m and she looks like a horse who will enjoy it. She'll go back so needs some speed but Miss Terasita, Beau Warrior and maybe Artic Attraction will ensure it. She comes out of the 3yo Cup which is way tough than this and had no speed (leader won) and todays speed map will be a plus! First crack at the surface always a Q but I think she will run a nice race and be hitting the line really well late and is worth a little play!
Race 9 | 12. The Longest Yard
This is a very open cup and this bloke is going to have run of the race. Loves the synthetic, perfectly drawn to stalk the speed, and is so well weighted so when he needs to go bang he can. First time at the distance isn't a concern as he looks like he's crying out for it , so with a little luck The Longest Yard will be the cup winner.
WARWICK FARM
Race 1 | 2. Our Huntress
Waller has three runners and J Mac rides Our Huntress for Freedman after she just got beat last start. Steps up to the 1400m with a soft barrier to control the race and this should be Mac’s first winner back from HK.
Race 3 | 9. Infusion (value)
Just forget she went around last start after they tried to ride her cold from an outside gate as she resented it. Change of jockey who will most likely try and go forward. Is an each-way play.
Race 6 | 2. Heaven Bound (value)
Ran out of her skin last start when outclassed in a G3 beaten 2.6 after leading them up. Will sit outside of the fav here and should get a few cheap sectionals from a soft draw. She’s worth an ew play.
