Kane Cornes has done a mini draft of the top seven coaches in the AFL.

Looking at the coaching ranks if he were the bottom team and had any coach to pick from in the AFL, this is the order that Cornes would draft in.

Number one is his first pick, which was Geelong’s Chris Scott who has coached for 15 seasons, winning two premierships and making finals in 13 of those campaigns.

Check out his mini coaches draft below.

1 – Chris Scott (Geelong)

“I’d take Chris Scott, as I said, he goes first, I don't think there would be too much debate about that,” Cornes said on SEN Breakfast.

“I think if the bottom clubs had access to whoever they could get, there wouldn’t be many that wouldn’t go for Chris Scott.”

2 – Chris Fagan (Brisbane)

3 – Damien Hardwick (Gold Coast)

4 – Sam Mitchell (Hawthorn)

“I am aware would cause debate (picking Mitchell over McRae).

“But it’s my draft… I am aware that other people would have McRae ahead of Mitchell, but I think Mitchell is a better coach.”

5 – Craig McRae (Collingwood)

6 – Ross Lyon (St Kilda)

7 – Adam Kingsley (GWS)

“After that, throw a blanket over them.”
