Collingwood captain Darcy Moore is in doubt for Opening Round as reports suggest his pre-season calf concern has worsened.

Initially reported by Josh Gabelich, Moore suffered a minor calf strain a matter of weeks ago, with scans sidelineing the skipper for a fortnight.

Unfortunately for the Pies, Moore has now been reassessed by the club, confirming that he could face another three to five weeks off the park, placing him in jeopardy of missing Collingwood's season opener against St Kilda.

Both Jeremy Howe and Dan McStay remain two weeks away, whilst Dan Houston (hip) and Isaac Quaynor (hamstring) have returned on non-contact programs.

Beau McCreery and Lachie Sullivan remain a number of weeks away, unlikely to return before the commencement of the AFL season.
