Sunday has not been a good day if you are a Broncos fan.
After the bombshell news that Payne Haas is set to join former Brisbane coach Wayne Bennett at South Sydney at the end of the season, it has now been reported that halfback Adam Reynolds will announce his retirement at the end of 2026.
The 309-game player would play for both Brisbane and South Sydney across 13 years, which saw him help the Rabbitohs win their first NRL premiership in 2014.
The captain finishes his NRL career as a winner, having helped the Broncos break a 19-year premiership drought and also win their first premiership without Wayne Bennett.
Across his career, Reynolds scored 2,524 points, which is only second to Cameron Smith, showing his greatness.
He will still play out the year with it likely he'll move into the coaching box in 2027 with Michael Maguire at Red Hill.
