Picking the best WA Origin side since 2000

With the 2026 State of Origin clash between Victoria and Western Australia just days away, what better time to look at an all-time WA Origin side.

Given Origin was last played in the 90s, we thought it right to pick the best hypothetical team since 2000, given none of these AFL stars had the chance to represent WA at the highest level.

We picked a best 23, with some players automatic selections and others chosen for how good they were at their peak as well as looking at their entire career records.
