Tim Watson's predicted top 10 in 2026

Essendon legend Tim Watson has predicted the top 10 ahead of the 2026 AFL season!

Last season, Watson incredibly predicted Adelaide’s jump up the ladder, picking the side to finish third prior to their miraculous rise to top of the table.

This time around, Watson has included seven of last year’s top eight within the 10, whilst also predicting the two sides that will feature on the final day of September.

Will the oracle once again nail a big call?

6. GWS Giants

7. Adelaide

8. Hawthorn

9. St Kilda

“I’m going heavy on the Saints this year. I like what they’ve done in the off-season.

“I think they’ve found players to fill some holes, they’ve recruited really well specific to their needs, and I think they’ve got some really talented young players.

“Tobie Travaglia, Darcy Wilson is tearing the place down. Alix Tauru is the best thing that I’ve seen at St Kilda since Nick Riewoldt.”

10. Western Bulldogs

“I’ve got Collingwood missing out.”
