The Brisbane Lions have named three co-captains ahead of season 2026, with long-term skipper Harris Andrews to share the role with Josh Dunkley and Hugh McCluggage.
With Lachie Neale stepping down from the role after a turbulent off-season, the club has opted to elevate a pair of premiership stars to join Andrews in leading the club from this season.
Former Bulldog Dunkley, a three-time premiership player, has played 78 games in his three seasons with the Lions, whilst McCluggage joins Andrews as a joint skipper having played 209 games with the club since being drafted in 2016.
The trio headline an eight-man leadership group, featuring Jarrod Berry, Cam Rayner, Jaspa Fletcher, Will Ashcroft and off-season recruit Oscar Allen.
Brisbane will be looking to defend their premiership status as they push to complete a rare three-peat.
