Cam Luke & David Taggart have your Wednesday sorted on Trackside.

The lads have taken a close look at Caulfield Heath & Warwick Farm in a bid to find the family some winners.

See their best bets below:👇

CAULFIELD HEATH

Race 2 | 4. Phoebe Buffay

Former Kiwi who has been ok in Aussie starts but this is a speed map that suits her really well! No major speed (Just Jenni MIGHT lead from inside gate but would be different to normal) and with the claim I expect her to roll to the lead and control it. Getting to the 1800m will suit and has ran better deeper into preps in the past! Don't go overboard in an even race with no stars but I do expect this girl to run well!

Race 3 | 4. Torsheen & Race 6 | 8. Eternal (win double $4.80)

Little short to back now so have the double with this girl into Eternal in R6. Staying at the 1200m is a win here as is the form of the last race where the girl who beat her ran third Sat at Flemington. From that gate she will go control the race and with her class and the 3kg claim will be too good!

Eternal belted them at Sale first up last prep and I expect based on a couple of nice trails to do the same today! Lovely gate to go forward and sit OSL (Turn Up Night) or control if no major speed inside. She is a bigger girl and likes her room, so clear space and handling The Heath both a watch but she is has the class to beat this!

Race 4 | 2. Hot Sand (each-way)

This is a really nice race but this bloke has a nice race in him with even luck! Was really good on debut behind a couple of nice horses and then had zero luck 1st up at Sale second prep. Is drawn well to squeeze forward and be put into the race and after a couple of nice jumpouts I think the 1200m rather then 14 suits him first up! This is a good race and I have a few in the quad but I think this bloke will run really well with Mott on board for 1st time and is a great each way play!

WARWICK FARM

Race 1 | 1. Coco Affair

Has trialled really well and two trials back beat home Campione D'Italia and we know what he did Saturday. Zac Lloyd stays on which I always enjoy. The fave was brilliant at Newcastle and absolutely looks metro level but is drawn a little sticky and there is speed to challenge her early. Heavy Track always a Q but it is with all. Include Handloom in early quaddie, she debited in a really tough race and this is easier so expect improvement but I am backing Coco Affair with a favourable Speed Map and expect her to run well.

Race 4 | 1. Spirit Of Camelot

Forget the resuming run where horrible gate forced her back! Will be a lot more forward today eith holding the fence and the lead or if Sweat Treats and Autumn Star go fast she can box seat. She gets 2kg claim and from that gate she will be in the race this time! Heavy track a little Q but has handled the soft and always runs well second up. 1400m is a big tick and I think she will be very hard to beat!

Race 5 | 6. Taxation

Has trailed up well without being asked to do a great deal. The other Blue Army horse is the danger and has the fitness but the big tick over Manukau is the wet track. She handled it really well last prep and the 1000m I think the suits the fresh girl better! She will speed map nicely behind the speed (also Manukau) and will be too classy late!

Race 7 | 2. Nanna's Wish (each-way)

Long break and probably not at her best 1st up but she loves the slop and has had two trials and looked ok! She will settle back and work home and she will be in the middle track which will work at this time of day! She runs very well at the 1400m and Roper takes a couple off but weight doesn’t bother her normally. This doesn't read as a real 78 so not concerned about that! Think she is overs at $12 and a little each way play!

David Taggart

CAULFIELD HEATH

Race 5 | 2. Crown Crusher

Was beaten by a very good one last start when it wasn’t entitled to win in Veyepee. Draws much better here and won’t have to get as far back. If he runs up to last start he can win.

WARWICK FARM

Race 1 | 6. She's Extra

Bolted in a Saturday maiden when heavily supported over the 900m. Clearly has ability as that was used as a trial and only improvement is to come from her. She can win by leading all the way.

Race 5 | 6. Taxation

Was tipped straight out after her first failure last prep. Has been kept quiet at the trials and she has won in this grade on the heavy in just her second start. Clearly is the one they have to beat.

Race 6 | 2. Suit Of Armour

Deserves to be favourite after an encouraging run second up 1.5 off them. Drops in grade from that run and hits this third up where he has had a win. Should get through the going and is the one they have to beat.

Race 7 | 10. Without Peer

Resumes and his form from last prep looks good for this. After winning on debut he pushed Ninja to a photo on a heavy track then was no match for Sixties and Autumn Boy running third behind them. He’s been kept quiet in both his trials.
