CAULFIELD - Race 9 No.12 - SALTY PEARL - Good return Vs males then beat all-bar superstar Sheza Alibi 2nd-up. Back/ Wide Vs pattern last week yet ran on well anyway. Now draws in (sits closer) and gets blinkers on. Sticking.

BET OF THE DAY (Sydney)

ROSEHILL - Race 7 No.1 - SIXTIES - Roared home fresh beating older horses running clear fastest last 600m/20-0m of day then wide yet too good Hayes Stks. Just no match for Observer at end of 1600m latest. Back 100m. Clear top pick.

VALUE BET OF THE DAY

CAULFIELD - Race 6 No.11 - INHERENTLY - Good return with 61kg and he has big weight swing on quinella from that race here. Back to 1400m 2nd-up and went wide/ good again. Back out to mile now. Value $11 in wide race?

Coolmore Classic

Race 8 - G1 Coolmore Classic - F&M - 1500m

1 - 6 - OLE DANCER - Did more work early than Savvy Hallie that same Surround Stks and battled very well for 1.8L 3rd (thrashed 4th). She was only 2nd-up too whilst Savvy was 3rd-up. Proven 15-1600m! Ready to win.

2 - 7 - SAVVY HALLIE - Made star filly Tempted really dig to beat her in Surround and the race rated very well relative to older mares on the day (many of those mares are here). No reason to doubt her 1500m she was strong on the line. Gate? Early work here?

3 - 5 - ARCTIC GLAMOUR - Terrific return from her in Guy Walter zooming late and now meets winner 1.5kg better, and, can settle up much closer here gate 1. The best value here $15??

4 - 2 - MANAAL - Gave all in that Guy Walter with her 59kg. She was only 2nd-up and maps for good trail.

5 - 4 - VERONA ROSE - Went super fresh then sat closer Guy Walter and ran over Manaal. No issues 15-1600m her. Also maps/ draws well.

6 - 1 - LAZZURA - Out-toughed fresh by Cinsault but did give her 3kg and fitness. Won G2 Lets Elope 2nd-up last prep. She goes in.
