Craig McRae has had his car smashed into by a hoon driver in Williamstown this afternoon.
The Collingwood coach was not in his vehicle, which was parked, and is thankfully unhurt.
But his SUV and another car were badly damaged after a man lost control of his $130,000 Mercedes on a residential street.
Witnesses said the driver was speeding before losing control, slamming into McRae’s car and spinning it around and into the street.
Residents claim the road is notorious for accidents and called for speed humps to be installed. McRae, who was nearby at the time of the accident, was a completely innocent party.
The premiership coach will be hoping for a better day tomorrow when the Pies host Adelaide under lights at the MCG.
